The WIA Center includes an activity space, kitchen, classroom, community store, library and computer room.
The activity space and kitchen are used for weekly gourd art workshops and soy food preparation. It is also utilized for weekly workshops, such as reproductive health, domestic violence and natural medicine, and activities such as cultural dancing. The classroom is utilized for before and after school programs for children. Children receive extra help with homework and take part in art and music activities. Women use the classroom for adult education courses. The community store sells used clothing and sneakers and school supplies at low cost to the community. It also now includes a photocopier for copy service.
