The WIA Center includes an activity space, kitchen, classroom, community store, and library.
The activity space is used for arts and crafts such as jewelry creating, gourd carving and natural soap and candle making. The kitchen is used for preparing soy food, milk and tofu, and natural grain cereals. The products are sold each weekend at craft fairs held at the Center.
The Center is also utilized for monthly workshops, such as reproductive health, domestic violence, and activities such as cultural dancing. The classroom is utilized for before and after school programs for children. Children receive extra help with homework and take part in art and music activities.
