All Inclusive Service Trip Fee:

Program fee includes:
-Accommodations wtih host family (separate living space, 3 meals a day, bottled water)
-Transportation (airport pick up/drop off and transport for all planned activities/excursions)
-Sight seeing trips, travel meals
-Pre/post-orientation sessions and materials
-Meetings/visits to schools, health centers, and organizations
-Planned weekly activities/excursions, enrichment activities, and project work
-Project donation (for project work during trip/internship)
-Monitoring and evaluation throughout the service trip/internship
-24 hour emergency assistance
24-hour trip guidance and translation with experienced Compas de Nicaragua Field Supervisor
All trip preparations and arrangements
*(For Internships) The program fee includes two weeks of immersion Spanish lessons. If you are efficient or fluent in Spanish, you may opt out of the Spanish lessons.
Program Fee does NOT include:
Airfare to and from Managua, Nicaragua
Tourist visa and departure tax
Travel insurance
Vaccinations
Snacks, souvenirs, and other discretionary purchases.
*A non refundable deposit of $200 is required with each application. On line applications, deposits and signed waivers are due a month prior to departure. The full, non refundable participation fee, is due two weeks prior to departure.
Compas is committed to supporting sustainable development efforts in Nicaragua. A portion of your program fee is donated to your work project. When you participate in a service trip with Compas, you not only support development efforts with your time and knowledge, but you also provide much needed economic support.
