Safety

The safety of our trip participants is of the utmost concern to Compas. We have been hosting trips to Nicaragua since 1990 and have extensive networks in the country. This experience has allowed us to responsibly and safely coordinate trips. Upon arrival, participants receive an extensive security and health briefing, and go over common sense precautions. By following such measures, the trips are generally very safe.

All trips are set up and facilitated by Compas' Field Supervisors, Michael Boudreau and Ana Rosa Narvaez. Michael and Ana will accompany the group at all times, and provide translation and facilitation. They are both very experienced in leading trips, and will serve as valuable resources in answering questions regarding Nicaragua's political reality, culture, and history.
