*The program fee includes two weeks of immersion Spanish lessons. If you are efficient or fluent in Spanish, you may opt out of the Spanish lessons.
Program fee includes: -Accommodations (separate living space, 3 meals a day, and bottled water with your host family) -Transportation (airport pick up/drop off and transport for all planned activities/excursions) -Pre/post-orientation sessions and materials -Meetings/visits to schools, health centers, and organizations -Planned weekly activities/excursions, enrichment activities, and project work (see sample itinerary) -Project donation (to install one bio-gas system and three gray water systems) -Monitoring and evaluation throughout the internship -24 hour emergency assistance
Program fee does NOT include: -International airfare to and from Managua -Tourist visa and departure tax -Required vaccinations -Required traveler's insurance -Snack, souvenirs, and other discretionary purchases
